San Francisco, CA - August 2nd, 2005 - AfterCollege Healthcare, a division of AfterCollege, Inc., the nation's largest career network specializing in recruitment at the college level, announced plans for the distribution of the Back to School Edition of its new and improved AfterCollege Blue Book: The Essential Nursing Career Manual. Through a proprietary network of nursing schools and state Student Nursing Associations throughout California, New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Michigan, and Florida, AfterCollege will distribute nursing career manuals directly to over 11,000 nursing students in their homes and classrooms.

The AfterCollege Blue Book is handed out in class by nursing faculty and deans as a resource to assist the nursing students and recent grads in preparing for their first job. The AfterCollege Blue Book contains resume and cover letter samples, interview tips, and salary guides specifically modeled for nursing students and recent grads. They are always rated the highest by students for its content and guidelines with regards to the many steps involved in finding that first job", said Rosemarie Hirsch, RN, MN, and Assistant Director of Nursing at Santa Ana College.
